Recently 28 year old rapper and actor , Bow Wow reported to People Magazine that him and his lovely fiance’ Erica Mena are still living in the home of his mother. That’s right, Bow Wow and Erica Mena are shacking up inside of the basement.
Many fans are wondering why? Is it lack of finances? Well , Bow Wow knocks those rumors right out the ball park saying ” “It just makes sense. First of all the house is too big, but I want to make sure my mom is comfortable forever.”
Bow Wow’s mother , Teresa Caldwell, who was also the rapper’s manager at one time stays in a 8-bedroom home in Atlanta. Apparently living situations like Bow Wow’s isn’t unusual in Hollywood or for celebrities and the common people. The rapper compared his situation to one of his producers Jermaine Dupri, who was also staying in the same home of his mother. Fiance’ Erica Mena, as well, as Bow Wow’s mother has no problem with the living situation and are very comfortable living as a family.
” It’s like I have a condo downstairs. I’ve had 100 people there and my mom has been asleep and has never heard the music, screaming, laughter, or drinking. I mean full blown house parties downstairs while she is in the bed asleep. So I’m staying right here.”
Bow Wow adds , “I don’t have to get in the car and drive anywhere to see her. I just come up the stairs and say, ‘What up, Mom.'”
Bow Wow , who is currently working on rebranding his image and name, going by his birth name Shad Moss, has a reported networth of 15 million dollars. Some sources say his networth is lower than the millions and others report that he is in debt. Unfortunately there is no credible source that backs Moss being in debt.
I wouldn’t doubt some of the rumors considering, Moss did make a statement to a family court judge saying he was broke when the judge ordered Moss to pay child support for his daughter that is estimated to be 3,000 monthly with back child support of $11, 500 .
The star has earned a living from movies, hosting television shows, and rapping.
