PEOPLE PLEASE JUST LET THEM LIVE GEESH!! : Ariana Grande, Ariel Winter, and Zendaya’s Thoughts on Body Image

Just like many other things that come with the battle and strengths of being a woman, or human for that matter, are the never ending comments of how ideally a human being is supposed to look! Celebrities seem to always be held to a higher standard when it comes to body image, but it is definitely something all human beings have dealt with.

It’s definitely frustrating on the expectations men have of women to look and be framed when it comes to their body structure. There are memes going around depicting pictures of women who are ‘slim’, ‘medium’, ‘thick’ or classified as ‘bbw’ with the phrase of Ladies which one are you? Newsflash to men and other women, NO WOMAN’S BODY STRUCTURE OR LOOKS IS THE SAME AS ANOTHER! We are all originally designed and beautifully and wonderfully made.

Well, someone from social media definitely tried to come for the body makeup of Ariana Grande, comparing her image to Actress Ariel Winter.

In response, Ariana Grande wrote, “we live in a day and age where people make it IMPOSSIBLE for women, men, anyone to embrace themselves exactly how they are… CELEBRATE YOURSELF. CELEBRATE OTHERS.”

here we go again…. Sure I’m not the only 1 feeling this way today!! in case you need a reminder, you’re beautiful🌬

Another celebrity that has had to defend herself when it comes to body image is Zendaya. Zendaya exposed a photoshop image of her posted by Modeliste  magazine. The photoshop image showed Zendaya with a smaller waist and slimmer hips. “I was shocked to find my 19-year-old hips and torso quite manipulated,” says Zendaya. “These are the things that make women self-conscious, that create the unrealistic ideals of beauty we have.Anyone who knows who I am knows I stand for honest and pure self-love.”
Recently Mattel  designed  a limited-edition Zendaya Barbie Doll, complete with Zendaya’s amazing ‘loc style that she received criticism from TV Personality Giuliana Rancic.
So often we forget that celebrities are humans just like we are. Let’s respect who they are as the human  beings they are! In 2016 please let’s stop comparing bodies!
